The Eye Dropper

The Eye Dropper is an interesting tool that will let you borrow a color from somewhere else on the screen and apply it to the fill color of a selected frame. Not only can this be a color from somewhere else on your document, it can be from virtually anywhere on your screen – a color from an image you have loaded, the background of your window manager, or various icons. If what you are clicking is a screen icon or button that produces some action, you may find this works less predictably, because colors picked from the Eye Dropper are always in RGB and also dependent on the color depth of the video mode.

If the color you click on is not already in your list of available colors, you are presented with a dialog to give it a name, and it will then be added to your list. Thus, you can then apply it to text and lines thereafter.
